Super Llama: Llamas are awesome! (24)
My Bio
I've always been a creative person. It began at a very young age. I used to 'doodle' all the time in the empty spaces in various notebooks for school. One day a friend took a peek and thought I should really be in an art class. I kinda brushed it off for awhile. However, he made me talk to his art teacher about joining his class. After showing the teacher my work he saw instant potential. That teacher went on to become my mentor. He expanded my knowledge and capabilities (in 2 dimensional art) in ways I never imagined possible. I will always be grateful to Gary Carpenter for showing me the light.

I became interested in photography in 2002 when I purchased a Canon Digital Elph S200, while stationed in Kuwait. Upon transitioning to Kitzingen, I began to take more and more photos (mostly a lot of club shots which soon led to me being known as the club paparazzi). However my lust for capturing moments led me to desire even more capabilities. In 2004 I finally decided to upgrade a bit and purchased my first pro-sumer camera, the Nikon Coolpix 5700. I became even more prolific in taking photos but still yearned for more. It took me losing my 5700 at a festival in Schweinfurt, to finally make the move and upgrade again. This time to the Coolpix 8700. A much better camera than the 5700 but that edge was still missing. In October 2008 I finally made the move to a DSLR, which I've been wanting to do for years now. My first DSLR became the Nikon D60. The quality and possibilities with my photography soared after that. All the things I wanted to do before but couldn't, or were difficult/complicated/time consuming to do with my 8700, were now possible! Even though I've taken thousands of photos I am definitely still learning. In December of 2009 I took a huge leap and got the D300s. Up until August 2008 my focus was primarily candid/nature/landscape/random photography; my favorite being candid and nature. Almost everything in life inspires me. I love capturing moments forever.
